Welcome

During the COVID-19 pandemic (Coronavirus), we recognize our responsibility to protect the health of those we are privileged to serve. We will continue to guide families, as we always have, in ways they can meaningfully commemorate the life of their loved one, while adhering to the guidance issued by federal, state and local public health officials.

As a member of the National Funeral Director Association (NFDA) and the SDFDA, we regularly receive information relayed from the CDC, Dept. of Health and Human Services and other agencies about the evolution of COVID-19 in the United States. NFDA continues to lead the conversation with federal officials about the role of funeral service as it relates to the COVID-19 pandemic.

If the staff of Mount Funeral Home can be of assistance, please contact us at 605-337-3857 or mount@midstatesd.net

Thank you for taking the time to visit our website, which provides practical information and valuable advice. Whether you need to make funeral arrangements now or wish to plan for the future, visit the At-Need Arrangement or Pre-Arrangement sections of the site.

If you are here to leave a message of condolence, visit the Current and Past Services in the Obituaries. You will discover beautiful and respectful Book of Memories® online tribute pages where you can leave messages of support for families, share stories and photos, send floral arrangements, and make charitable donations. If you are unable to find specific information that you need, give us a call at any time.

Blue Christmas Remembrance Service
Personalized ornaments were created for all those families served by Mount Funeral Home during 2019. If you were unable to attend our Dec. 14th Blue Christmas Remembrance Service, but wish to receive the ornament in memory of your loved one, please contact 605-337-3857 or mount@midstatesd.net.
