Paul Allen Meyerink was born on May 18, 1970 to Raymond and Muriel (Cady) Meyerink at Platte Community Hospital, Platte, SD. He attended Platte Christian Grade School and graduated from Dakota Christian High School in 1988. He continued his education at Mitchell Technical College where he earned an Associate of Applied Science Degree (AAS) in Heating and Cooling Technology.
Paul enjoyed being outdoors. He loved hunting, going to the river hills on his uncle’s land, and a good round of golf. He took great pride in his work as a carpenter; making sure each project he did was as perfect as he could make it. He always appreciated a good joke. He truly cared for his family and friends. His walk with Christ was deeply personal, he witnessed God’s handiwork in the creatures and nature all around us.
Grateful for having shared in Paul’s life: his father, Raymond Meyerink of Platte, SD; four siblings: Londa (Meyerink) and Keith Langin of Sioux Falls, SD, Doug and Shelley (Teeslink) Meyerink of Platte, SD, Lorinda (Meyerink) Zimmer of Harrisburg, SD, and Steven and Kari (Blais) Meyerink of Watertown, SD; 11 nieces and nephews; 12 great nieces and nephews; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Muriel (Cady) Meyerink.
